Kerry Sowersby

Kerry is interested in boxing and has been actively involved with the amateur boxing scene, qualifying as a coach and official. Kerry is a football coach, setting up and running a successful club, she likes to work in her allotment and sketch when she has the time.

Kerry moved to the Tankersley area 6 years ago, but her partner has been a Tankersley resident on and off for the last 58 years.

Kerry has always been actively involved in the community in which she used to reside, and wants to continue this now she lives in this area. Kerry is looking forward to working with the local community and Parish Councillors, interested in giving a voice to young people in the parish and getting them involved.

Enabling all residents to have a say in their community and to take part in activities which bring the residents together, improve their environment and amenities is the reason Kerry is looking forward to giving her time as a Parish Councillor.
