David Crossley

Dave and his family moved to Tankersley in 2015 and quickly became involved in community activities.
Dave is passionate about helping the community and in addition to his work as a Parish Councillor gives much of his personal time to working on voluntary projects for the Tankersley Community Association (TCA) of which he is a member.
Dave became a member of the Parish Council at the start of 2021 and is extremely active. He introduced and organised the popular summer hanging baskets to the Parish and was a key member of the working parties supporting the three main community events in 2021:
  • the post lockdown celebration,
  • the annual bonfire, and
  • countdown to Christmas.
All were a great success and enjoyed by many.
To help the village stay tidy and litter free Dave regularly takes part in litter picks and carries out many little jobs that make the Parish more pleasant.
