Bonfire Night -6th November PDF Print E-mail

bonfireThe Annual Bonfire provided by Tankersley Parish Council will be held this year on 6th November; as always the Community Association will be providing Food and hot drinks to raise money for the centre.  Please support them by buying food and bonfire treats!

The bonfire will be lit at 6:30pm and the fireworks will start between 7:00 and 7:30pm  This is a free event, and always a worthwhile show.

Volunteers who wish to help collect wood for the bonfire should meet in the Community Centre Car Park on Friday 5th at 9am. Please wear stout shoes and gardening gloves!.  If anyone has any wood they need burning, please bring it up to the bonfire site on Saturday morning.

Bonfire building starts at 9:30 on the 6th behind the Community Hall.  All are welcome to help build.  Volunteers are desperately required !
