Parish Council comments: Councillors strongly oppose this development, and have expressed their concerns to BMBC. The proposed development will be visible throughout the Parish and will have a significant negative impact on surrounding properties. Councillors referenced the overbearing nature of the structure and the impact of noise and vibration, which they feel haven’t been properly investigated by the developers. Councillors have requested this application be considered at Planning Board level, with the inclusion of a site visit, to allow the full impact of the proposal to be understood.

Consultation regarding public footpaths numbers 31, 33, 34 and 35 – Tankersley Park Golf Course

Parish Council comments: Footpaths 31, 33 and 35; no objections. Footpath 34; Councillors expressed serious concerns regarding pedestrian safety if the new route was adopted, due to it’s location in relation to the driving range. Councillors felt neither proposal for this footpath was suitable and if adopted would be at the detriment to public safety.
